As a little girl I had a big dream to win a Grand Slam tournament one day. It came true in 2010, when we together with Janka Čepelová won the Australian Open Junior Championships in doubles. That moment had forever been written into my heart not only because we had achieved great success, but because it had proved to me that if you really believe in your dreams, it will one day come true.
As I grew and matured into a woman, my dreams began to change into visions and ideas of how I could help this world become a better place. I thought about how I could connect my job and what I enjoyed the most to help others.
Thanks to tennis, I have already visited many countries, met a lot of positive people and, in particular, many children that reminded me of myself; that little girl with big dreams. However, many of them cannot fulfil their dreams. Their parents have told them that they are simply unable to fulfil their dreams and they, as a result, have lost their faith. When I saw their sad eyes, I knew I had to do something about it.
Although I am a woman with aspirations, I still have a few unfulfilled dreams. Competing at the Olympics is one of the biggest and I work hard every day towards fulfilling that dream. I do not have ideal conditions to achieve this at the moment, but I believe that when you really believe in something, the universe will unite to help you. I want to be the motivation for those little sad eyes and prove to them that every child’s dream can be accomplished. To prove to them that even if very few believe you, faith in yourself will always be stronger and therefore we should never lose hope!
I will be happy if you can help me on my journey and together we can help those who need it to accomplish their dreams.
